Patricia Hadley Owner/Administrator Physical Therapy Department Director Patricia founded The Longview Therapy Center in 1991. She is the Owner, Administrator. Patricia is a Physical Therapist who graduated from The University of Texas Health Science Center, Dallas Allied Health Division with a B.S. in Physical Therapy in 1983. She is NDT Certified and SIPT Certified. She has received training in therapeutic listening at the Ayres Clinic, California. She has completed extensive post graduate training in developmental and sensory integrative dysfunction. She has served as consulting therapists for twelve school districts in the East Texas Region. Her vision of opening a specialty clinic providing Physical Therapy, speech / language Pathology, and Occupational Therapy with service to children, adolescents, and adults is a reality. The clinic serves those in need of neurological rehabilitation. She has been a frequent speaker to promote early childhood screening and intervention for sensory motor maturation difficulties. She presented a paper in England on the Vestibular-cochlear system impact on nervous system organization at the 10th annual European conference of Learning Disabilities. This conference was attended by therapist representatives of many countries including Spain, Scotland, France, Africa, Germany and Mexico. She brings bright hope to the many clients and families she serves, daily. She is an avid supporter of the arts and musicians. Angie Briscoe, M.S., CCC/S-LP Speech-Language Pathologist The Longview Therapy Center is fortunate to have Angie, who joined the team in June 2005. She is a May 2005 Summa Cum Laude graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University, holding a Master's Degree. She received numerous honors and earned the award for Excellence in the Department of Human Services. In college, she served as Vice-President of the SFA Chapter of the National Student Speech-Language -Hearing Association (NSSHLA), active in Alpha Chi National Honor Society, and named to the Dean’s List. She brings a vibrancy and enthusiasm to the Speech-Pathology team with a strong knowledge base and a talent for exceptional rapport with her clients and their families. She is currently an active member of her professional associations: TSHA, ASHA, and currently serves as secretary of ETRSHA. She demonstrates a special interest in the early childhood population, but exemplifies expertise along a range of disorders and all age levels. Angie has earned continuing education hours in the areas of autism and childhood aparaxia of speech. Angie's hobbies include spending time with her husband and daughter on their ranch. She enjoys reading, exercising, shopping and spending time with family and friends. |

Beverly B. Hall, M.Ed., CCC/S-LP Speech-Language Pathology Department Director Beverly Butler Hall, M.Ed., CCC/S-LP brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the LTC. She has been providing Rehabilitation services in conjunction with Patricia Hadley, PT, since 1988. She has been with the Clinic since its inception in 1991, serving as Speech-Language Pathology Department Director since 1997. She holds a Master’s Degree (1983) from Stephen F. Austin (1994). She has a rich experimental base from her Private Practice (since 1984) incorporating traditional as well as more innovative intervention strategies. She has acquired advanced postgraduate training in her specialty areas. She enjoys special populations of children and adults with Auditory Processing Issues found in Learning Disabilities, Dyslexia, ADD/ADHD (Attention Deficit Disorders), Developmental Delays, PDD, and Autism Spectrum Disorders. She has conducted and provided therapy in a variety of settings, being in Private since 1984. She has authored a very popular articulation remediation program/book H.A.R.T.S. in 1988. She has presented workshops across the state of Texas and all of the Region Service Centers. She has taught Learning Disability classes at the University and provided clinical practicum supervision for graduate student across the region. Beverly has presented papers at the European conferences on Learning Disabilities and across the nation. She was named outstanding Young Alumus of Stephen F. Austin University in 1994. She is tremendously interested in the development of a theoretical as well as clinical framework for the treatment of those with Speech Language, Disorders, Auditory Processing Dysfunction and Sensory Integration Issues. She is active in her Regional, State and National Associations, serving as president of the East Texas Speech, Language, Hearing Association. Her hobbies include spending time with her 3 daughters and husband, reading, scuba diving, travel and time with friends in their home. |

Alan Smith, OTR Occupational Therapy Department Director Alan Smith, OTR, serves as the Director of Occupational Therapy Department at Longview Therapy Center, PLLC. He graduated from Texas Women’s University with a Bachelor of Science Degree to practice Occupational Therapy in 1998. He also holds a Biomedical Science Degree from Texas A&M University. He joined the Longview Therapy Center team after gaining experience by providing services in school systems and home health settings. He has tremendous insight into a myriad of developmental conditions with special expertise in Sensory Integration, NDT, and pilates. Hobbies / Special Interests: Alan enjoys mountain biking, running and training his 1-year old Boxer 'Lola'. |

Marya Wright, M.S., CCC/S-LP Speech-Language Pathologist Marya Wright, M.S., CCC/SLP joined the LTC Team during her Clinical Fellowship Year. She is a 2003 graduate of Stephen F. Austin University, earning Master’s of Science Degree. She holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) provided by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association. She has had experience in Headstart, public schools, and hospital settings. She currently enjoys her specialization in neurological rehabilitation with a sensory integration model of S.T. Her areas of special interests lie in auditory perceptual disorders in adolescent and college aged clients, autism spectrum disorders and dysphagia intervention. Certifications: Deep Pharyngeal Neuromuscular Stimulation (DPNS) & Oral / Facial Neuromuscular E-Stim. Her hobbies and interests include spending time with her daughter, scrapbooking, boating and camping with family & friends. |
